Food was AWSOME!! Loved everything about this place will definitely come back again! I highly recommend it to everyone!
Sadly Skylight Gardebs is definitely closed as of January 2024, though the website is still up and the voicemail has not been updated. The space is for lease and the furniture has been cleared out.
We made a reservation here for a weekend evening and it was very packed. It looked like there were a lot of regulars. The service was fantastic. I loved the breadsticks. I ordered the spaghetti and it was delicious. The interior is pretty with a skylight (hence the name). The food is like typical Italian food.
Great place to have dinner in Westwood! Came here for dinner with colleagues and the ambience was lovely and the food delicious. Menu is large enough to please any palate but not overwhelming. I ordered the Strozzapreti Norcina and it was absolutely delicious! The cream sauce with the sausage was to die for. The noodle was a very unique handmade shape and much thicker than other pasta noodles - divine. Appetizers were good but neither stood out to be superb. Service was pleasant. Loved having live music, but the music sometimes got very loud and it became difficult to hear in a conversation - would have been more appropriate if the music selection was less "dramatic" and more mellow. I will pass along ratings from my other colleagues: Salmon 4/5 Short rib 5/5 Ravioli 5/5 Sea bass 5/5 Overall I recommend coming here to enjoy some live music while enjoying a delicious dinner. Be sure to ask for a seat at the lounge for a more lively atmosphere!
The service and the vibe of the restaurant gives you such a nice experience. Would be great for date nights or family gatherings. We had the lasagna and spaghetti meatballs which were good.
Wonderful neighborhood restaurant with a full bar and great Italian / American food. Staff has always been friendly and the ambiance in both the main dining room and cocktail lounge take you right out of the noise of surrounding westwood village. Recommend their martinis and manhattans, as well as any of the hand made pastas. Biggest surprise was the burger (not pictured in my review). Arguably one of the best in LA. Definitely try it.
Came here for graduation dinner celebration. All i can say is wow! We had such an amazing experience. The food and wine was absolutely delicious. Due to the crowds from graduation and US open they were out of a few things but were very accommodating and took care of us even with some of our first entree choices being unavailable. Our waiter Alex was absolutely amazing. Such a gem in the heart of westwood! And the live music was so good! Such a fun evening!
